Brief overview: MISCAN-PRO (Erasmus) is a microsimulation model that allows tumor grade to progress over time, and a formal linking between cancer progression and biomarker growth is under active development. PSAPC (FHCRC) is a microsimulation model that doesn't allow tumor grade to progress over time, and cancer progression is formally linked to biomarker growth. SCANS (Michigan) is an analytic mathematical model that allows tumor grade to progress over time, and cancer progression is not formally linked to biomarker growth. See complete overview
